Windows Update problem

When i click to open the update the page is mostly blank with a yellow box,
two help symbols, and a refresh symbol. when i click on the gray box located
in the yellow one i am given another blank page but at least it has this:
"Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - March 2009 (KB890830)" which i
recently just downloaded. under that is a circle that i can bubble and then
i can say either finish or cancle.

What operating system including SP level are you using?

Im running Windows Vista, im unsure what the SP level is...

I'm having the same problem -- I'm running Vista on Service Pack 1. Anybody
know how to fix it?

Try the following:-

Open the Vista Start Menu search Bar and type: RUN

Click OK

Type the following lines and after each one click OK:-

regsvr32 jscript

regsvr32 vbscript

No guarantees

Reboot, Vista likes plenty of reboots.
