Error Code 80246001

Stuck on "checking for updates" Got the above code. Not much info about it.
Have done everything suggested in this Update section and I am still not
getting any updates.

Any ideas ?

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup.

Tip: Get updates for third-party drivers and software from the manufacturer,
not Windows Update.
