unable to update error 80070490

i am using visa and like so meny others have had no joy in getting this
problem fixed so it there is anyone out there that can help it would be great
ps i to use a compaq computer

Hi. I had a problem that generated many error codes when loading Windows
Live. Problem solved by taking possesion of the load file - in this case
Messenger.lnk and removing the deny run permissions.
