Windows Server 2008

Hi,
I am not sure if this is in the right section but it is fairly close.
We have a Windows 2008 Server which we are integrating into our network and
have had a few issues with it which have prevented its final move. One of
which is a slow reboot time, what happens is it shutsdown okay and when
rebooting it displays on the screen that it is "Configuring updates: Stage 3
of 3 -71% complete. Do not turn off your computer"
The server will sit at this screen for hours before starting fully.
Can anyone help?
