Update Error 0x80070002

Since updating to IE8, I cant access the update page. Clicking 'Microsoft
Update' from my 'Start Menu', brings me to
"http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/muoptdefault.aspx?returnurl=http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate&ln=en-us&muopt=6"
with the error code 0x80070002
Any Ideas ???

update from Windows Update, from Microsoft Update, or from Windows Server
