How to block specific Windows Updates

Hi. I need to block a specific Windows Update because it is causing problems
on all of our desktops. They are all Windows XP Pro SP3. I have seen the
Microsoft tool to block service packs, that's not what I need. I need a way
to block specific updates, while at the same time allowing automatic updates
to continue as they were. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Do the machines update via WSUS?
