RE: Dead USB's on docking station after updates
I have an HP laptop and installed the Microsoft Update and Silverlight this
morning. I too am having trouble with a USB device. I have two external
hard drives one is functioning fine and the other one works but does not
display as connected. The lights are on and the drive is running, I can feel
it and hear it when it is turned on. I have changed USB ports and the same
thing is happening. All other USB devices are functioning. My mouse and
keyboard are fine, the second external hard drive, printer... In all I
constantly am running six USB devices. I too am using a docking station for
my laptop.
I too need resolution quickly. I have items needed for a presentation
Saturday a.m.
Thanks
