error message 0x80248008

my pc started crashing repeatedly, so i used the pc recovery utility. After
what I thought was a successful reboot i went to microsoft update to
re-download the updates that recovery had destroyed. Thats when i got the
error message. I have tried to update with both my anti-virus and my
anti-spyware uninstalled. I checked to make sure that bits was running and it
was. If I cant get this fixed soon, i'll have a pc full of malware. Someone
out there?
