Question About Zune Software And Updating With Microsoft

I have been trying for a couple of weeks now but when I go to install the
Zune software it goes to a page like I have no connection. I have done all
the troubleshooting problems and NONE have helped. This is getting very
irritating. I have a legit copy of XP and when I go to my friends houses I
can do everything there (download the software ect)just not on MY COMPUTER.
