NET framework1.1 SERVICE PAK 1

I have onecare and every time i log in it says i need an update foR FOR THIS
.. I get an error code 0X643, same every time.I even downloaded a new internet
explorer7 and same thing happened. I have aq sony Viao with XP service pak 3
mutlimedia edition. does anyone knoe how to fix this?

When you try to install an update for the .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0,
or 3.5, you may receive Windows Update error code "0x643" or Windows
Installer error code "1603"

Method 2: Use the .NET Framework automatic cleanup tool:
This tool does a better job in removing .NET Framework but
read the instructions carefully.
