Why won't Update show XP Service Pack 3 as an available download?

I have XP Home Edition, currently on SP 2. We are trying to Connect a
LeapFrog Crammer toy to the computer, and the computer always crashes.
LeapFrog says I need service pack 3, but when I use Windows Update, it does
not offer SP 3 as an option for downloading, even under custom. Any
assistance would be appreciated!
