Automatic update problem.

It shows that the automatic update was successfully downloaded but it asks
for a restart. I do the restart and again it keep asking me for a restart.
This is happening for the last few days.

Insufficient information, you have failed to provide details of your OS etc.
Windows XP and Vista are two different systems and what applies to one may
not necessarily apply to the other.
