Windows Messenger Live Does not open

For some reason I am unable to login, or even open my windows messenger live.
The only thing that I have done differently in the past few days was to
download the new security patch for IE. I have removed the program and then
added it back, yet still am unable to open it up.

Does anyone know of anything? Is anyone else having this same problem?

did you try System Restore?
