Trouble with old patch MS03-011 (Microsoft VM)

System: Windows 2000 Server SP4, with Microsoft VM 3805 (confirmed installed)

Trying to install old Microsoft patch MS03-011 and am encountering issues.
Need downloadable executable option as I cannot use Windows Update directly.

Tried to update using Q816093_W2K_SP4_X86_EN.exe and got "Setup has detected
that the Service Pack version of the system installed is newer than the
update you are applying to it. You can only install this update on Service
Pack 3." (Interesting, considering it has "W2K_SP4" as part of the filename,
eh?).

Did some more searching and then tried to use
"X86-all-msjavwu_8073687b82d41db93f4c2a04af2b34d.exe" and that resulted in
"The Microsoft VM you are attempting to install is a protected system
component and can only be updated with a later release of the operating
system or service pack."

Hmm.... any ideas? How can I get the VM on these Windows 2000 Server SP4
systems (that currently have Microsoft VM 3805) updated to Microsoft VM 3810?

with "you should get rid of VM and install Sun's Java" since that's not what

Obtain Microsoft JVM 5.0.3810 from the link on the bottom of this page:
http://oldversion.com/program.php?n=msjavavm

D/l and save it.
Close and disable any program that relies on the MSJVM from running on
startup.
Temp disable any sec software that guards changes to system files so
that it does not load on boot.
Restart the system and then try to install it.

Did that get it installed ?
