Windows update download directory
I have a solid state 4 gb ram drive that is amazingly fast. I have
windows xp booting off it in under 5 seconds!
My user profile directory and most of my programs on a separate hard
drive to conserve space on the ram drive.
Unfortunately windows updates keep downloading onto my ram drive which
means I keep getting warnings about low disk space and then the
updates fail to apply.
Is it possible to:
1: Reclaim some of that lost space by deleting the "undo" files that
updates create?
2: Configure windows to download new updates to a directory on another
drive?
Thanks
