Security Update for 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB955936)
I am running Office 2007 on Server 2003R2 SP 2 that is used as a Terminal
Server

I cannot install this update using either Windows Update, Office Update or
downloading it as a stand alone file.

Windows update gives
Error Code: 0x8007066F

I have tried repairing the office installation as well as many of the steps
in KB 304498

My next step is to completely uninstall Office and use the install Cleanup
tool.
Are there any less drastic options I can take?

See

For Office 2007, substitute the following for the first part of the intrux:

==========================
1st Rename Office subkeys

Note: Removing the following registry keys may reset customized user
settings for your Microsoft Office programs.

1. Close all the applications.
2. Click on Start->Run, type in REGEDIT and click on OK.
3. Locate and select the following registry subkeys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0

4. Right click on 12.0 and rename them to Old12.
5. Close the Registry Editor.

===========================

Or you can...

the United States and in Canada or by contacting your local Microsoft
subsidiary. There is no-charge for support calls that are associated with
security updates. When you call, clearly state that your problem is related
to a Security Update and cite the update's KB number (e.g., KB955936)

For more information about how to contact your local Microsoft subsidiary
for security update support issues, visit the International Support Web
site: http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx

For enterprise customers, support for security updates is available through
