I'm sorry you are having issues with your Windows for Workgroups 3.11
updates...?
Windows NT 3.5?
Windows NT 4.0?
Windows 95?
Windows 98?
Windows 98 SE?
Windows ME?
Windows 2000 Professional?
Windows 2000 Server?
Windows XP Home?
Windows XP Professional?
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition?
Windows XP Media Center Edition?
Windows Vista (assorted versions)?
Please let us in on a bit more details. ;-)
Also - if you could provide the service pack level of your OS - that would
help as well.
If I had to guess (I do) - I would throw out there that you have Windows
Vista of some flavor. If it has SP1 installed or not - not really sure.
It means you are having trouble connecting to the server.
Could be a firewall, a proxy server, etc. Could even be a registry entry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Win dows\WindowsUpdate\AU]
"UseWUServer"=dword:00000001"
... should be:
"UseWUServer"=dword:00000000"
Might just want to use a tool to fix known issue with Windows Update for
you:

Anyway - come back and let us know what worked and did not work for you!
(As well as more information.)
