When the system boots or awakes from hibernation/sleep, the updates will
prompt to be installed. The timeout for 'delayed' installations depends
if the system is shut down or put into sleep/hibernation modes.
If the system is shutdown and the updates have already been downloaded
to it, one will be prompted to either Install Upates at shutdown or
Shutdown and do not install updates.
For sleep/hibernation, there will be a prompt to install updates when
the system is woken up.
You can change the installation time for updates if that concerns you,
Rick. Configure the Automatic Updates settings via the icon in Control
Panel. Or, use Group Policy for numerous workstations on a network.
