Vista Updates

Actually i don't have any internet connection for my pc. I keep my
anti-viruses program updated by downloading the definitions from another pc
or laptop which has internet facility and then later run those definitions
in my pc. So my anti-viruses program gets updated.
In the same way can i install updates for my Vista downloading a file and
run it in my pc?

Yes. E.g. use the Windows Update Catalog. But depending on how
you connect the two computers you could also use WSUS.
