Windows update

Vista Home Premium
When I got back from vacation last week I checked for updates.
I get the msg "No new updates for your cpmputer"
The last update that I have received is 10 September.
Seems to me that updates should have been sent since that time.
Any info appreciated.

Updates are released 2nd Tuesday of each month (or Wednesday depending upon
where you are).

Be patient.

Nope, at least not any security-related updates. Next batch is due on 14
October (second Tuesday of every month).

If you run Windows Update manually, there should be a new Root Certificates
update available in the Optional Software Updates category (if Automatic
Updates hasn't installed it already). It was released on 23 Sept-08.

If the "Get updates for more products" button is available, you can select
this option to change your default update source to Microsoft Update and be
offered updates for MS Office, Windows Live applications, and, e.g., Zune.
