Win XP Service Pack 3 install errors

Service Pack 3 will download but not install, after these errors:
"cannot copy beethov9.wma to destination entry" and
"the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect".
I have Win XP Pro; tried all five suggested troubleshooting methods.
Antivirus, antispyware suite is Norton 360 (which I disabled for Method 3,
as instructed.
