Winows update KB938464

My Advent 8117 laptop running windows home premium (32 bit) has tried to
install update KB938464 15 times since 11th Sept, all have failed. Can find
no solution on microsoft help anywhere. Any idea's as to problem?
This is my first posting - forgive me if I have not done it correctly.
