error number 0x80072EFD

Windows XP Pro Sp2 updated to SP3 OutPost Firewall

i got this error number 0x80072EFD when i was accessing microsoft update. I
am using OutPost Firewall which never acted-up when i was still running
Windows XP SP2. I have tried everything to resolve this problem using
resolutions of microsoft but to none availment and even configured OP to
allow microsoft update site. Earlier i have downloaded an update for INTEL
PROSet/Wirelss with OutPost Firewall running with no necessary
configurations, but wasn't included in the installation with the rest of the
upgrades, which is weird.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

If you disable Outpost Firewall AND THEN enable the Windows Firewall, does
this problem persist?
