Windows XP SP3

I've tried downloading this (from "Miscosoft Update" and "Microsoft Download
Center" four or five times. Each time it downloads and begins installing.
But before it finishes installing, an error (0x80070005) appears, essencially
saying a problem has occurred and the program must shut down.

This is really frustrating. I downloaded the troublshooting recomemdations
for this update failure also, but they did not succeed either.
