Re: April 3rd Update Problem with DVD Disk Drive

Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem? I have a Media Center
that has suddenly lost the ability to burn DVD's. It will transcode the
video, start the burning process and then eject the disc, spontaneously
aborting the whole process. I am using Nero Version 6.

I have tried to update the firmware, but like Em I get the message that
I do not meet the "minimum requirements."

I am working on an HP m7680n for a customer. I have run into the same
problem as is described above.

Will read audio CD, or DVD, but will not read a data CD.

I also tried to install the firmware upgrade and it failed with the
same error message as mentioned above.

Has anyone been able to resolve this issue successfully?
