Service Pack 3 won't install
I have tried several times on both my desktop and my laptop. On both
machines I get an error message saying, "A device connected to your
computer is not functioning." It then stops and undoes what it was
doing. The next time I start the computers, there's the update icon
again to install SP3. What is going on and how do I fix it? Any help
will be appreciated. Oh, I did disable my antivirus program before
installing but that didn't solve the problem. Thanks.

WinXP SP3 - Read all prerequisites for a successful installation

Free unlimited installation and compatibility support is available for
Windows XP, but only for Service Pack 3 (SP3), until 14 Apr-09. Chat and
e-mail support is available only in the United States and Canada. Go to
http://support.microsoft.com/oas/def...spx?gprid=1173 | select "Windows
XP" then select "Windows XP Service Pack 3"
