no updates

Automatic update site is disabled and i tried my maximum to enable but vain.
BITS was enabled by me.
even i am not able to browse any update sites . my virus status is perfect.
i tried even after after uninstalling Norton to.
please help me.
my security centre is also not opening.

just today i tried to scan live from microsoft i got following ..

"We're sorry. This version of the Windows Live OneCare safety scanner

You need Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000
Professional, Windows Server 2003, or Windows 2000 Server. You also need
either Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or MSN® 9.0 or higher."

BUT friends i am not able to browse any site of microsoft to get such
products to download. i can browse all remaining sites in this world. i am
quite upset now.
support group site of microsoft i can't browse ..i used both IE and firefox.
i have Windows XP version5.1 SP1.
internet AOL wireless.

in services.msc i got error 1058
i tried again again to enable..i didnot succeed . my BITS enabled by me now..

[Even if your machine wasn't infested with hijackware...and it is...you'd
need to have WinXP SP2 or SP3 installed to be able to get any updates.]

You have a Vundo-ZLOB-SDBot infection, all protected by a rootkit.

Given your years of careless attitude towards security (i.e., not keeping
the machine fully patched at Windows Update at all times), I'd recommend
formatting & reinstall Windows.

but i need windows XP 2 to fix my problem..please from where can i get that?

You won't be able to get SP2 or do anything much until you get rid of "Vundo".

Manual removal is not recommended for this threat. To detect and remove this
threat and other malicious software that may have been installed, run a
full-system scan with an up-to-date antivirus product such as the Microsoft
online scanner (http://safety.live.com). etc

my vundo is not leaving my computer.
C:/windows/system32/urqRJBTM is the infection shown by VundoFix V7.0.6
but i am not able to fix that..
can i manually delete it.....?
