Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929)

When attempting to do this update installation It like goes through some of
the process and then an (Access Denied) box pops up and then It goes through
the uninstall process.
I don't know what the problem is. Do I have to turn off my Norton Antivirus
before attempting to install the update?
Someone please help me. I'm so frustrated I feel like tossing my computer
out the window. lol
