Installing Windows Update Problem
Everytime I scan for updates it shows I have some that need to be installed.
However, I am not allowed to do so becuase a message pops up saying I need
administration permission. I have only one account on my computer, and it is
administrator. I tried to create another account administrator account, but
i did not work. Can anyone help me with my problems?

Error message when you try to install a hotfix or an update on a Windows XP
computer: "You do not have permission to update Windows XP"

You receive an "Administrators only" error message when you try to visit the
Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site
