Unable to access Windows Update

Whenever I try to access Windows Update I get the following error code and
message:
error code: 0x80072F76
"The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem."

none of the FAQs or solutions help.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup, please.
