Update for Windows XP (KB898461) Fails

I have disabled my Anti virus software and tried to update several times.
This update always fails. Any ideas?

Go to Start > Run > type in, or copy and paste, the below into the Open:
line

kb898461.log

Click OK or press Enter.
Post the log into your reply, please.

Also, which firewall is being used; is there a popup/cookie blocker or
3rd party toolbars/Internet Explorer add-ons or an anti-malware program
installed ?
