Update

I just updated my laptop, and after doing that I have lost everything, I can
even access my desktop and my Start button is not showing.

They were updates for windows vista, I had a message coming up saying that I
need to activate my windows, when I tried to do that my the code provided, it
says that the ID doesn't match.

I don't what else to do help please
