Error message 2771 when rebooting computer

Hi. When I reboot my computer, I'm consistently getting a message that says,
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package.
This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2771." I
have no idea what it's even talking about! Please help.

How does this pertain to Windows Update?

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup, please.
