Update Won't Install

I've installed the KB936181 XML 4.0 Service Pack 2 repeatedly and every time
it succeeds, and then the next time I go into updates it says it needs to be
installed again. Every time it reappears and never actually installs. Are
there any other ways or methods I can get this to install by? My network
requires my computer to be "updated" so I can't use most online features
since it needs to update I can't get my computer to install.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when

I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Everything else is completely up to date
on it, don't know if that matters, but I figured I'd mention it as well.
