Emails
My XP Pro is set to receive automatic updates. Service Pack 3 is installed.
Yet I keep getting e-mails from "Microsoft XP" with a subject of "RE:@R
Official Update 2008"; sometimes 2-3 per day. The e-mail link is "FREE
UPDATE WINDOWS XP, VISTA". The e-mail states I'm receiving this because I
signed up for MSN Featured Offers. I don't recall doing that. Is this
really from MS or a scam? It also states I can unsubscribe by following the
link. I've wasted too much time already trying to find a way to
"unsubscribe".

Sounds like a SCAM.
Use your email filtering/rules to handle it.
