Vista Authentication

I have a new laptop purchaced at best buy and when it runs the genuine
authenticator it tells me that my licence on the laptop is not valid so i
can't update vista.

its a toshiba satilite laptop and i payed big money i can't see that it
would be a bad copy of vista on it but i can't even start the tool with a cmd
prompt i get a error 5

Plz help me

Please follow this troubleshooting procedure:

1. Download and run the MGA Diagnostic Tool: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

2. After running the MGA Diagnostic Tool, click on the "Windows" tab and then click on "Copy".

3. Next, visit the following website and create a post in the "WGA Validation Problems" forum
and paste the results of the WGA Diagnostic Data in a detailed post.

4. A WGA troubleshooting spe******t will analyze the data and recommend an appropriate solution.

Call you computer supplier or manufacturing. It is possable they may have
the wrong serial # on it, I have seen it happen. They most likely have a
help system.
