RE: 0x737D Applying SQL Server fix
I had the same problem, but after I turned on all the services related to
SQLSever. I was able to update the SP.
To turn on the services:

1. Click on Start, and then Run, type in msconfig, and click on OK.
2. Click on Services tab, and check all the services with the word "SQL" in
it, then click on Ok.
3. You have to restart your computer.

After restarting your computer, try to update again. Hopefully this may help.

If you are unable to updating the MS Office, do the same, but turn on
"Office Source Engine".
