RE: repeaded installation of the same update ?

Just uninstall and then reinstall windows defender and everything will go
back to normal. Come on people we are all using windows here....having
software issues is part of the expirience lol...............

I have done that!!! and two days later the same update keeps popping up
KB915597. I guess that solution is out the window!! HA

I too have had the same problem with KB915597 however the version is now
1.67.321.0 I had not installed it and yet it still repeats itself even after
turning off the automatic updates for a minute so that the "Do not show this
update again" box presented itself, which it had failed to do each time it
showed up again to be downloaded. I of course then turned the Auto update
back on to "download but let me choose" and yet this version of the same kb
will NOT STOP APPEARING! HOW DO WE GET RID OF THIS VERSION OF THE SAME KB
NUMBER?
