failure of updates

my windows update are continously failing each time i keep on getting diff
error messages.please help. i use vista premium

Please give one or two of these error messages (exact wording best)...

Right now we know you have 'failing updates' and use 'windows vista'.
Without a specific error or two - someone could shotgun an answer to you
(but you could have Googled such an answer.)
