windows update causes windows error and shutdown

microsoft has sent windows updates to my pc with now problems in the past. I
have tried to load the new ones and keep getting windows fault errors after
the new install and windows just wants to keep shutting down to protect
system. I have to restore the system to before update to correct this error.
