Re: install the driver for Intel PRO/Wireless LAN adapter software
You will need the *full name* to locate the latest driver for the
adapter on the Intel Site:
http://www.intel.com/support/wireles.../CS-005905.htm
The above page shows how to identify the *specific* adapter in Vista or
you can use the Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection ID Tool.
Theoretically, you should be able to uninstall the adapter, reboot, and
Vista will locate and install the drivers for it.
If it can't, then suggest that the OS needs some tending to.
