update problems

my automatic update functin says that it is turned off when i never turned it
off, and when i try to turn it on , I get a message that says " that it cant
be turned on". I've tried everything even did the whole thing by gong to run
then type services.msc and try to start it tat way but nothing works. can
someone help me?

I just received an update from Zone Alarm that resolved the issue. Zone
Alarm identified the KB951978 issue. Once I updated the program no more
worries. It was a pain in the interim......Good luck!!
