Failer intalling SP3

Hello,
I've tried over and over to download and install the new SP3.
It acts as if it's installing, it quits.
I've gone to ADD/REMOVE sP 3 KB936929 shows failed.

Can anyone advise me on this problem?

I installed SP3 and wish I hadn't. Since then IE, Photoshop, Bridge, DxO
Optics and other programs crash repeatedly. I'll try removing SP3 but if
anyone has a solution I, fot one, will be gratefull
