W2k3 SBS SP2
Save the beatings for later... I will *finally* be installing SP2 on a W2k3
SBS Standard server this week. I have installed many updates since SP2 was
orignially released. My assumption is that SP2 will overwrite some of the
files which were updated post-SP2 release (thus undoing the updates). Will MS
Win Update software recognize that some of the updates need to be
reinstalled, or will I need to manually reinstall all updates released after
SP2 (or alternately uninstall them prior to installing SP2)? Does Update look
at file properties/dates/versions, or is there a database of installed
updates which Update checks against, to determine which updates have not yet
been installed?
