Your question may/may not be out of place. Given where you have posted - I
will assume it is not out of place and ask you which patches you believe may
have damaged your email client... Have you uninstalled the last round of
updates you installed to test that theory?
To add to that - I have no idea what version of Windows you are running,
what service pack level that version of Windows is at (if any) and what
email client you are utilizing that is giving you the issues you are
presenting here.
The latter requested information will be important no matter where you may
likely end up posting this question to receive an answer. That is *if* your
question (as I suspect) has nothing to do with Microsoft Windows Updates...
