i Would not download it , it messed up my sons computer and he had to
reinsatll everything on there. Sorry I am not computer literate,but I know
when something updates and shuts the computer down isn't good.

Than i called and they kept telling me it's not the program, and they
couldn't help with it. So that tells me they do this for a reason, maybe to
keep people from there computers. So beware of the Service pack 3. Service
pack 2 does just fine..

Until July 2010. After that security updates for SP2 will no longer be available.

If the machine in question is old and you expect to stop using it before 2010,
by all means don't bother with service pack 3. Otherwise, best to install
service pack 3 before April 2009, when the free installation and compatibility
support offer expires.
