Auto Update Downloads but does not install.... No error messages g

Hello out there.....
I am running XP Pro and I have been using Live update sucessfully for a while
under the Express Install Method. I have Norton Internet Security running.

For no apparent reason now the updates are downloading but not installing
and all the message says is "the following updates could not be installed"

There is no error message given. I would really like to get this resolved as
NONE of my udpates for SQL server 2005 or Office are updating....... I now
have 107 updates dowloaded which will not install........

I am currently running on XP Pro 5.1 SP 2

All help given really appreciated.....

Ignore the title - Updates are not installed successfully from Windows
Update, from
Microsoft Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows
XP installation

NB: Also applies to clean installs, upgrade installs, and Recovery
installs. --
