I'm trying to update my sisters PC running XP home.
i get error 8007007e from update page.
Firewall is turned OFF.
I've added update website to trusted sites list
Any suggestions?

[stoopid KB Advanced Search: Why don't either of those come up when you
search on "8007007e"?! Well, it looks more official now, at least. <sigh> ]

Thanks, this fixed the problem, I re-installed SP2.
I could then download updates, tho they wouldn't install.
I found the fix for not installing on another microsoft help page
