Update Net Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (KB110806)

Download says complete - installation initializes - install fails. Continues
after re-boot. There are others having same problem it appears. Update icon
will flash until this is cleared....help, please.

I followed your directions. I could not get Kb110806 to load successfully for
more than 2 weeks. At the site you recommended I 'unregistered and
re-registered windows installer and I followed the direction to repair .Net
Framework 2.0'.
Before attempting to run the update again(and you need to be the
Administrator) I disabled a couple of security progams temporarily -
CounterSpy and Spybot Search & Destroy. KB110806 successfully installed after
that. Thanks
