Wordperfect Mail and latest Updates (Windows XP, SP2)

Hi,

I have Wordperfect mail 2.0.4 on a laptop running Windows XP, SP2. I use it
as a mail client for my work email (using IMAP). My laptop was setup to
automatically receive and install Window updates. The other day, I received
the following set.

KB947864
KB110806
KB948881
KB941693
KB944338
KB945553
KB948590

I began to have problems sending mail. I could not send any mail with
attachments. I verified this by sending mail (with and without attachments)
to my other email accounts and to friends. Mail with attachments would
disappear from my Outbox but would not show up in my sent folder or at its
destination. I verified with the IT people at work that the problem was not
with their system. I removed the update patches from my laptop and rebooted.
After that, I was able to send mail with attachments *and* my previous emails
with attachments arrived at that destination. I reinstalled one of the
patches (Kb947864) and the problem came back. As before, removing the patch
resolved the problem.

My question is, is there a fix? I have not reinstalled the April updates.

Uninstall update KB947864

Its seems to have messed up authentication process in windows...

I gaurentee this is the update giving you problems.

I have found that this update causes probelsm for anything todo with
authenticating to a remote server to.. it will allow u to connect once.. 2nd
time will just not bother to make the authentication at all..

I dunno why it just dont..

And when microsoft realise this they gonna be gob smacked lol.

Im realy annoyed becuase i have buisness to run and my computers have all
that update installed and none of my applications work.
